- I recently got a Cardinal 28.8 External V.34/V.FC modem. Just about
- all of my connections are at 26.4 and my ftp transfer rates are approx
- 23k bps/sec. Should I be satisfied with these numbers? I'm using
- Windows 95 Dial up Adapter with a local ISP (slip connection). I d/l
- the most recent firmware but didn't see any difference. The
- connections have been reliable and I've never lost my connection, but
- I'm still looking for a 28.8 connection. When I added "AT&F" to extra
- settings in Win95, my connection showed ll5,200. But this doesn't
- mean I connected at 28.8, does it? Please excuse my basic questions.
- I'm really new at this. Thanks in advance for any help.
